After his discharge from the army he was re-employed by Warner and Swazey and after a period of time, he became employed by the U.S. During that period he was inducted into the United States Army and served a period of two years.
After graduating from East Tech, he was employed by Warner and Swazey. He attended Cleveland Public schools and graduated from East Tech High school. Leo Dowdell was born in Jin Cleveland, OH to the late Leo and Mary Dowdell.
